Tehran, Feb 2 (IANS) Iran will play Trinidad and Tobago in a football friendly to warm-up for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Carlos Queiroz’s team will play the international friendly June 8 in Sao Paulo just before the start of the World Cup, reports Xinhua.
“This is another massive game for our national team. I think the match comes at a really good time and will be a fantastic opportunity for our current national team to experience playing such a game mere days before the start of the World Cup and in the country where all the action will be taking place,” said Trinidad and Tobago Football Association president Raymond Tim Kee.
Iran is also scheduled to play friendlies against Guinea March 5, Belarus May 18 and Montenegro May 26.
Iran have been drawn in Group F of the World Cup along with Nigeria, Argentina and Bosnia and Herzegovina and will face Nigeria first June 16 in Curitiba’s Arena da Baixada.
