New Delhi, Dec 16 (Inditop.com) Baloch leader Mir Hassan Bizenjo Wednesday described Islamabad as a “five-star jail”, saying the Pakistani capital did not differ from Kabul from the security point of view.
“The spillover of religious extremism is threatening the region,” said Bizenjo, son of the late Baloch leader Mir Ghaus Baksh Bizenjo.
“Look at Islamabad. It is a five-star jail today. The guns that were trained at Kabul have turned around at Islamabad. Islamabad and Kabul are no different today,” the younger Bizenjo added.
The remarks came at the launch of an autography of the late Bizenjo, organised here by the Policy and Planning Group (PPG).
Pakistani High Commissioner Shahid Malik rejected the comparison.
“The two cities (Islamabad and Kabul) cannot be compared. The stage has not come, and God forbid it will never come,” he said.
