Jerusalem, Jan 3 (IANS) The Israel Missile Defence Organisation and the US Missile Defence Agency Friday completed a successful flight of the Arrow-3 ballistic missile interceptor.
“This is the second flight test of the Arrow-3 interceptor and was conducted at the Israeli test range over the Mediterranean Sea,” Xinhua quoted the Israeli Defence Ministry as saying in a statement.
The statement said the Arrow-3 interceptor was “successfully” launched at 8 a.m., and flew an exoatmospheric trajectory through space, according to the test plan.
