Silverstone, Sep 7 (IANS) Akhil Khushlani will replace Aditya Patel as the guest driver in the fourth round of the JK Racing Asia Series to be run at the iconic circuit here this weekend as a support event for the British GT Championship.

Patel, who raced at the previous two rounds in Spa Francorchamps (Belgium) and Paul Ricard (France) circuits, had to drop out as his application for a British visa was rejected.
Khsushlani, the 22-year old from Hyderabad, who has been on the international circuits, but in junior Formula series, will be racing for Team US Formula Project with Italian Lorenzo Camplese and Malaysian Danial Hidzir.
With some fantastic victories under his belt and armed with 134 points, nineteen-year-old Jeffri still leads the championship ahead of Aston Hare and Irfan Ilyas with 122 and 73 points respectively.
Malaysia’s Nabil Jeffri, who has won four races this season, leads the championship with a tally of 134 points, ahead of South Africa’s Aston Hare (122).
