Thiruvananthapuram, May 3 (Inditop.com) Thiruvallam Bhasi, a Kerala journalist who edits two magazines in Melbourne, has won a certificate of appreciation from the Victorian Police in Australia.
The award is in recognition of the support given by his magazines to the ‘Crime Stoppers’ section of the police.
Bhasi launched an exclusive magazine for students, “Indian Student”, and a Malayalee magazine, “Indian Malayalee”, both from Melbourne.
“The award was handed over by Victorian Chief Police Commissioner Simon Overland,” Bhasi told IANS over phone from Melbourne.
