London, April 30 (IANS) Children all over Britain have no idea who Prince William is. On the day of his wedding, many thought he would be having ‘peppa pig cake’ while others were happy because ‘Daddy gets to have the day off work’.
Four-year-old Mari Griffiths from Neath Abbey in South Wales said: ‘Kate Middleson and Prince Williams are getting married but I don’t know why everyone is so excited.’
Barnaby Clarke, four, from Warwick, said weddings were ‘boring’. ‘King William will wear a suit and a crown and will marry a stranger called Kate.’
Three-year-old Mya Delve from Nottingham said the couple were ‘going to have a Peppa Pig cake’.
‘I want to get married when I grow up but I don’t want to marry a prince. I want to marry a boy,’ she was quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
Aaliyah McRltchle from Aberdeen thought she should have got an invitation as she wanted to see the bride’s dress. ‘I don’t know who’s getting married though,’ she added.
While eight-year-old Jezzorne Tannis thought Kate would be given a wand to grant three wishes to all well-behaved boys and girls in the world, four-year-old Ava Gregory was disappointed that Princess Catherine was marrying a different William and not her little brother with the same name.
