New York, Oct 31 (IANS) Model Heidi Klum’s star-studded Halloween tradition is taking a year off.

“Hope you and your loved ones are safe after the storm,” she tweeted Tuesday.
“Canceling my Halloween party… postponing to a haunted Christmas,” she further posted with a photo of herself on a post-Hurricane Sandy street here, reports people.com.
Much of the city was still shut down as of Tuesday afternoon following, what officials have called, the worst storm to ever hit the city. In addition, for the first time in its history, the New York City Halloween parade has been cancelled.
Klum had planned to attend her always over-the-top bash as Cleopatra. The 39-year-old has previously dressed up as everything from a robotic superhero to Lady Godiva and Betty Boop.
