Kabul, July 20 (IANS) Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna arrived here Monday night for an international conference on the future of Afghanistan being hosted by Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
Karzai met with several foreign ministers who arrived in Kabul, including Krishna.
Krishna is scheduled to meet US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Kabul Tuesday.
Nearly 70 international representatives are to participate in the Kabul Conference, which will endorse new development projects and transfer more aid money and responsibility to Afghan administration.
Karzai will co-chair the conference along with UN Secretary-General Ban ki-Moon.
