Los Angeles, June 24 (IANS) Marking the first death anniversary of Michael Jackson Friday, Madame Tussauds Wax Museums around the world are paying tribute to the King of Pop. Its Washington branch has shown off Jacko’s wax figure in the attraction’s lobby.

The special Michael Jackson Tribute Exhibit will run from June 23 to July 7, reports aceshowbiz.com.

‘Madame Tussauds (Washington) DC joins all nine Madame Tussauds attractions worldwide from Shanghai to New York in paying tribute to Jackson whose untimely death June 25 last year shocked the world,’ the museums tourist attraction said.

‘Each attraction will create its own tribute exhibit. Madame Tussauds DC’s exhibit will be free to the public so that people of Washington and visiting passersby alike will have a chance to be close to the King of Pop once again,’ a statement added.
