London, April 2 (IANS) With the release of “MDNA” pop star Madonna has surpassed Elvis Presley as the solo artist with the most No.1 albums in Britain.
Released March 23, the album has made Madonna queen of the albums, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
David Guetta’s “Nothing But The Beat” is in second place, Emeli Sande’s “Our Version of Events” rose to third and Adele’s “21” is at No.4.
Jessie J’s “Who You Are” jumped up 18 notches to the top five.
