London, Aug 1 (IANS) Pop queen Madonna, who was photographed holding a cigarette, has not started smoking again, her representative says.
The ‘Material Girl’ singer has stepped behind the camera to direct W.E. – the story of Britain’s King Edward VIII – who abdicated the throne after falling in love with American divorcee Wallis Simpson.
‘She was snapped on location holding a cigarette and a lighter, prompting reports that she had taken up smoking again, a habit she quit when she was younger,’ reports contactmusic.com.
However, the spokesperson insists the gossip is not true and Madonna was merely holding a prop cigarette for one of the stars of the movie.
