Dambulla, June 22 (IANS) India collapsed like a pack of cards and were all out for 209 in 42.3 overs against Sri Lanka after Farveez Maharoof claimed a hat-trick in an inconsequential match of the Asia Cup cricket tournament here Tuesday.

Both teams have already made it to Thursday’s final.

Rohit Sharma made 69 off 73 balls while skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni contributed 41 off 53 balls. The two shared a 79-run stand for the fifth wicket before Farveez Maharoof’s (5-42) hat-trick triggered an Indian batting collapse.

Dhoni was run out as India lost four wickets with the score at 189.
