Bangalore, April 20 (IANS) Maini Precision Products has bagged an order from global aerospace major Airbus to supply components to its aircraft platforms, the city-based company said Friday.

“We have signed a contract with Airbus to supply standard bushes for its various aircraft platforms after winning the order through a global e-bidding, competing against global players in the domain,” Maini Global Aerospace Ltd chief executive Naresh Palta said in a statement here.
The Maini group has been engaged in high precision and engineering products over the past four decades and has a strong presence in diverse industry segments.
“We hope the contract will enable us to build a long-term association with Airbus and its tier-1 vendors such as European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company N.V. (EADS), which has recognised our capabilities,” Palta said.
Core capabilities of Maini group include high precision products for aerospace, automotive and general engineering applications, material handling equipment, electric carts for people and cargo movement and storage racking systems.
