Monchengladbach, April 2 (IANS) Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach and Patrick Herrmann have agreed on a contract extension until June 2019.

The attacking midfielder and homegrown talent inked a new contact on Wednesday, which keeps him another four seasons with the “Foals”, reports Xinhua.
We are pleased that we were able to extend with Patrick, who wants to continue the successful path we have taken together,” Monchengladbach’s sporting director Max Eberl said.
“Patrick evolved under us from a youngster to a Bundesliga player. We are happy that he wants to take the next step in his career with us.”
The 24-year-old turned professional in January 2010 to score 35 goals in 185 appearances.
“I have a lot of fun to play for Monchengladbach. I feel the confidence of the club and those responsible,” Herrmann said.
“We have great supporters and a unique stadium. I feel at home here. I want to be successful on the national and international level with the club.”
Third placed Monchengladbach clash seventh placed TSG 1899 Hoffenheim at the 27th round of Bundesliga on Saturday.
The “Foals” sit just seven points behind second placed VfL Wolfsburg meanwhile fourth placed Leverkusen are on Monchengladbach’s tail.
