London, July 2 (IANS) Singer Alicia Keys who has eight-month-old son Egypt, says motherhood has given her a ‘reason in life’.
‘Motherhood is heaven. It’s so purposeful and such fun. I feel much wiser in the choices I make. I have a reason in life I never had before,’ contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
The 30-year-old, who is married to Swizz Beatz admits fame scared her in the intial phase.
‘I suddenly found myself doing tours, TV shows and flying every day. Everyone wanted a piece of me and that was scary. Being from New York, I covered that up,’ she added.
