Jakarta, May 2 (IANS) The killing of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is expected to reduce the movement of global terror groups, including those in Indonesia, a senior Indonesian official said here Monday.
US President Barack Obama announced that Osama bin Laden was killed in a security operation in Pakistan.
‘If that is true, it would bring positive impact. We expect that it would reduce movements organised by radical groups since their main figure had died,’ Ansyaad Mbai, head of Indonesian government’s agency tasked to curb terror, was quoted as saying by detik.com.
