Islamabad, June 2 (IANS) Pakistan has set up a commission to formulate a uniform policy with regard to agriculture tax, a media report said.
The Council of Common Interests (CCI) Wednesday constituted the committee comprising representatives from the federal and provincial governments to develop uniform policy for agriculture tax, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.
The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, noted that the agriculture tax was primarily the responsibility of the provinces.
