Islamabad, Nov 2 (IANS) Pakistan’s press council has decided to take steps to improve ethical standards of journalism in the country.

A meeting of the Press Council of Pakistan was informed that its Ordinance and Ethical Code of Practice would be sent to all newspapers and press clubs to sensitise journalists and the people on ethical journalism.

The council members lauded the government for reviving the institution after a lapse of eight years, reported Dawn Wednesday.
