New York, May 25 (IANS) Former ‘American Idol’ judge Paula Abdul will be seen as the lead judge on CBS’ forthcoming new dance reality show ‘Got to Dance’.
Abdul will not only mentor and coach the participants, but also work as the executive producer of the reality show that will feature all genres of dance.
‘I’ve spent the better part of my life teaching, mentoring, nurturing – working with so many talented people – and I consider myself truly blessed to be able to continue to do something that I hold so dear to my heart,’ people.com quoted Abdul as saying.
The show is expected to go on air mid-season.
‘Each and every week we’ll showcase the challenges and successes of a fantastic group of dancers as they perform and compete… compelling stories, exciting competition and amazing dance performances are guaranteed,’ said Abdul.
