London, July 31 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Defending champion and world record holder Vincent Hancock put on a shooting masterclass to retain the Olympic gold in the men’s skeet here Tuesday.

The American waltzed through the course downing all 25 targets to score 148, and the Olympic record for a final.
Anders Golding of Denmark pushed Hancock close, missing just once for a total of 146 for silver, while Nasser Al-Attiya of Qatar defeated Russia’s Valery Shomin in a bronze shootout after they were tied on 144.
