Lima, Aug 18 (IANS/EFE) Peruvian media have disseminated photos of female cadets at a National Police academy in the southern region of Ayacucho posing in lingerie and – in some cases – brandishing guns.
The cadets appear in several photos wearing underwear and one of them even bares her breasts, Frecuencia Latina television said.
Police authorities in Ayacucho are keeping silent about the matter.
Last year another scandal surfaced in Peru after three female traffic police appeared posing half-naked on television programmes and in a video posted on a porn Web site.
The three agents and a fourth accused of making the video were expelled from the police amid a controversy about the violation of these women’s right to privacy, the release of the material without the consent of the parties involved, and whether the sanction was excessive or not.
