Hong Kong, July 31 (IANS) An undersea quake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale struck off the eastern coast of Japan’s Honshu island Saturday, Xinhua reported.
The tremor occurred at 18:53 GMT, the US Geological Survey said. The epicentre was at a depth of 43.50 km, at 36.9660 degrees north latitude and 141.0583 degrees east longitude.
There was no immediate report of damage or casualty.
