Moscow, Sep 30 (IANS) Russia Thursday night launched a rocket carrying a Mexican satellite, Xinhua reported.
The Proton-M rocket with QuetzSat-1 satellite blasted off at 10.32 p.m. from the Baikonur space centre in Kazakhstan.
According to Russian space agency Roscosmos, the rocket is scheduled to separate with the satellite at 7.45 a.m. Friday.
