Nottingham, July 30 (IANS) England were 24/1 in their second innings at the end of second day’s play of the second Test against India at Trent Bridge here Saturday.
Andrew Strauss was batting at 6 and Ian Bell 9 with England trailing by 43 runs.
Ishant Sharma took an early wicket of Alastair Cook (5).
Earlier, the Indian first innings wrapped up for 288 in reply to England’s 221 all out.
