Dhaka, July 28 (Inditop.com) Bangladeshi dancer Sharmila Bandyopadhyay was adjudged “world master” at the Asia Festival in Seoul, South Korea, where a large audience swayed to the beats of her ankle bells.

The organisers clipped a microphone to the angle bell to get the best sound effects for the 10,000-strong audience.

“The tinkling of my ghungur added a novel touch to my performance. Even I was amazed at the sound of my anklets as I danced to the beat of the music,” she told The Daily Star.

She performed at the venue that had hosted the main event of Seoul Olympics in 1988 along with artistes from Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Mongolia, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
