Beijing, Sep 30 (IANS) At least seven people were killed and one person was injured in a coal mine explosion in central China, Xinhua reported Friday.
According to the provincial coal mine safety bureau, the incident occurred Thursday evening in the Changning city of Hunan province.
The mine is under technological renovation to expand annual output to 60,000 tonnes.
