Islamabad, Jan 2 (IANS) At least seven Pakistani soldiers were Wednesday kidnapped by militants from a small town around 120 km from Islamabad, just days after 22 security personnel were abducted from the northwest tribal region, a media report said.

The incident took place in Jand in Punjab province, Xinhua reported citing local media.
On Dec 27, militants attacked a check post in Darra Adam Khel in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing at least two security personnel and kidnapping 22 others.
Security sources said that an estimated 30 militants were involved in the attack.
