Dubai, July 1 (IANS/WAM) Shopping centres in Dubai will remain open till midnight from July onwards, a step which is likely to increase sales besides helping people to shop at night.
According to the Dubai Department of Economic Development, the step is likely to boost the emirate’s retail industry.
Shopping centres will remain open between 10.00 a.m. to 12 midnight, seven days a week while restaurants inside the centres may stay open to 1.00 a.m. at least and even extend for extra hours if needed.
Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment Laila Bint Suhail said the move would help increase sales of retailers and give shoppers more fun time at the centres.
