London, May 31 (IANS) Scottish singer Susan Boyle is set to start her maiden American tour after achieving global stardom since appearing on “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2009.

The “I Dreamed a Dream” singer, known as SuBo, shot to fame on ITV talent show “Britain’s Got Talent” and has since become a global star, winning an American fan base who will see her perform as part of her 2014 world tour.
“This is a brilliant moment for me. I am so very proud to be announcing that I will be performing in my very own tour in the US. This is very exciting,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
“The past five years have been incredible and it just keeps getting better. I have spoken so often about wanting to tour America and it is actually happening.
“The Americans have embraced me since the beginning and I can’t wait to hit the road. I’m hoping it will be in a tour bus so I can see more of the country as we travel across the US,” she added.
