Tbilisi, July 1 (IANS) The Georgian capital Tbilisi will host the 2015 UEFA Super Cup, the UEFA executive committee said.

The Super Cup match will be held at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium, the biggest stadium in Georgia with a seating capacity for 55,000, reported Xinhua.
The UEFA Super Cup is an annual football match held between the UEFA Champions League winners and UEFA Europa League holders.
The Cup match has been held in Monaco every year since 1998 when the contest became a one-off match.
Starting next year, the UEFA Super Cup match will be held in other cities as well. The 2013 match is slated for Prague and the 2014 match at Cardiff of Wales.
The current UEFA Super Cup champions are the Spanish club FC Barcelona. AC Milan of Italy have won the Super Cup five times.
