Bangkok, Feb 11 (IANS) Thailand’s Election Commission Tuesday resolved to hold elections in April at polling stations in which voting was disrupted during advance voting day and during the Feb 2 poll.
The election commission said the advance voting would be held April 20 for polling stations that were blocked Jan 26, reported The Nation.
Elections would be held April 27 for the polling stations that were blocked Feb 2.
Meanwhile, Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva, who boycotted the elections, said Tuesday that Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra should acknowledge the failure of the elections and consider calling off any new voting.
