Dubai, Oct 6 (Inditop.com) The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, and the visiting Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor discussed bilateral ties between the UAE and India here Tuesday.
Sheikh Hamdan expressed satisfaction over the economic relations between the two countries and said the two countries enjoy their historic and long-standing relations, WAM news agency reported.
Tharoor expressed hopes for increased bilateral trade and investment cooperation. He said the UAE was keen on expanding cultural and economic ties.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive of Emirates Airline & Group and president of the Dubai civil aviation authority, Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Shebani, director of Dubai Crown Prince’s Court, Markhan Al-Ketbi, director of the Dubai Crown Prince’s office and Talmiz Ahmed, Indian ambassador to the UAE Talmiz Ahmad were present on the occasion.
