Beijing, May 29 (IANS) Three people were killed and eight injured in an explosion at a chemical plant in China’s Shandong province, authorities said Sunday.
The blast occurred at 9.30 p.m. Saturday at the plant of Shandong Baoyuan Chemical Co. Ltd, reported Xinhua.
Two people died at the spot while a third died in hospital.
The cause of the blast was being probed.
