Islamabad, Feb 29 (IANS) At least three people, including two women, were killed Wednesday in a roadside bomb blast in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal region, media reports said.
Five other people were injured when the remote-controlled bomb exploded around 2.45 p.m. near Qambar Abad market in Bara of Khyber Agency, Xinhua reported citing local media.
Khyber Agency is one of Pakistan’s restive tribal regions bordering Afghanistan.
All the injured people were taken to the intensive care unit of the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar, capital of the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
No one has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
