Islamabad, June 4 (IANS) A day after he said that Kashmir was the “unfinished agenda of Partition”, Pakistani Army chief Gen. Raheel Sharif said on Thursday there will be an improvement in relations with India.
After the joint session of parliament, Sharif said that in the coming days there will be an improvement in the relations with India, Geo News reported.
Sharif said there was no reason to be worried about the recent attitude exhibited by India as the Pakistani Army was capable of responding to any form of aggression.
When asked about the security situation in the country, Sharif responded that there has been an improvement, and that the security situation would further improve in the country.
“Pakistan and Kashmir are inseparable,” General Raheel Sharif said on Wesdnesay in an address at the National Defence University.
He emphasised that while Pakistan wished for peace and stability in the region, it was essential to have a just resolution in the light of UN resolutions and according to aspirations of Kashmiris to establish this.
