Washington, Aug 16 (IANS) World No.8 Jo-Wilfred Tsonga will miss the 2013 US Open tennis tournament.
The 28-year-old Frenchman announced the decision on his web site Thursday, reports Xinhua.
Tsonga’s injury on his left knee kept him out of the tennis court since he retreated from his second round match at Wimbeldon.
He had already withdrawn from the Rogers Cup and the Western and Southern Open.
