Moscow, July 31 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A private pleasure boat, carrying at least 15 people, sank shortly after midnight Sunday in a river in Moscow. Two people died in the incident while six are still missing, officials said.
The incident took place in the Moskva river after the boat collided with a cargo barge, police said.
‘Six people have been rescued, one swam to the shore on his own. Divers recovered two bodies from the river and the search for remaining passengers is underway,’ an official said.
An emergency services official said there were two Turkish nationals among the rescued passengers.
