Nairobi, Aug 29 (IANS/WAM) The UAE’s global campaign to cure a million children has arrived near the Kenya-Somalia border.
There are tens of thousands of children suffering from malnutrition in the wake of the famine in the Horn of Africa at Kenya-Somalia border.
Volunteer doctors and surgeons with the ‘Cure One Million Children’, created as a social corporate responsibility partnership among the agencies to help needy and sick children around the globe, are extending help to the suffering children.
These children are threatened by various diseases as a result of the worst draught in Horn of Africa in half a century.
