Abu Dhabi, May 13 (Inditop.com) The foreign ministers of the Arab states and the Pacific island nations will meet in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in June to discuss cooperation between the two sides.
Representatives of more than 30 Arab and Pacific countries will attend the meeting, the foreign affairs ministry said Wednesday.
UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and League of Arab States Secretary General Amr Moussa will open the meeting.
“The meeting is organized in cooperation between the League (Arab States) and the UAE. It will discuss ways to boost trade and investment between the Arab states and Pacific island states of Samoa, Solomon Islands, Palau, Nauru, Tuvalu, Fiji, Micronesia and Marshall Islands,” ambassador Hesham Youssef, Chef de Cabinet of Amr Moussa, said.
