Kiev, Sep 9 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Ukraine defender Yevhen Khacheridi may miss his country’s World Cup qualifier against England Tuesday after catching a virus, his team Dynamo Kiev announced.

The 25-year-old centre-back had recovered from a shin injury he sustained Tuesday during a training session with the national team.
“But just after returning to action, Khacheridi got infected with a virus and was out of training again on Friday,” a statement on Dynamo’s site said.
Oleg Blokhin only has two central defenders to call upon after Taras Mykhalyk of Dynamo and Oleksandr Kucher of Shakhtar Donetsk were ruled out with injuries.
Shakhtar’s Yaroslav Rakitskiy and Vitaliy Mandzyuk of Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk may get the nod for the match at Wembley, the Ukrainians’ first of the campaign.
Their last encounter, at a 1-0 victory for the English at Euro 2012, is remembered for the so-called ghost goal scored by Marko Devic but not counted by the officials.
England defender John Terry cleared the ball but only after it had clearly cross the line.
England trounced Moldova 5-0 in their opener Friday.
