Tehran, Dec 30 (IANS) An American plane made an emergency landing in the Iranian city of Ahvaz about 20 days ago, an Iranian official revealed Sunday.
According to Mahmoud Rasoulinejad, managing director of Iran Airports Company, the small commercial plane made an emergency landing after developing a technical snag, Xinhua reported.
After the landing, the people onboard were allowed to continue their journey to the Persian Gulf states while the plane stayed in the airport for repair work, said Rasoulinejad.
The plane will leave the country as soon as the repair work is completed, he added.
