Venice, Sep 9 (IANS) Philip Seymour Hoffman won the Coppa Volpi award for best actor for his role in the film “The Master” while Israeli actress Hadas Yaron won the best actress award for her role in “Lemale Et Ha’Chalal (Fill the Void)” at the 69th Venice International Film Festival.

According to Xinhua, “Pieta” directed by South Korean director Kim Ki-duk won the Golden Lion for Best Film at the event held Saturday.
The Silver Lion for Best Director was awarded to American film director Paul Thomas Anderson for his film “The Master”.
