London, Oct 31 (IANS) Actress and burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese says she dyes her hair every two weeks as she is born blonde.
The 40-year-old is famed for her raven locks, but admits she’s actually a natural blonde.
“I’m a natural blonde, but I prefer being dark. I dye my hair every two weeks – I do it myself. But I only wash my hair every two or three days, so my colour doesn’t fade,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Von Teese as saying.
She also doesn’t like to leave the house without her trademark red lips.
“I always wear a lip liner base before I slick on my lipstick, so it doesn’t slip off. You have to be wary of your lipstick when you wear red – you can’t really eat cheeseburgers and still keep it in place. Discipline is required,” she added.
