Moscow, March 31 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A Russian woman accused of sex trafficking, and on an international wanted list since 2010, has been extradited from Germany to face charges in Russia.

Svetlana Medinger and her partner, Andrei Pastorov, ran a group between 2003 and 2005 that trafficked five Russian women to Germany and forced them to work as prostitutes, the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office said Saturday.
The two threatened their victims with death or lured them on false promises, it said.
Medinger was arrested by German police in November last year.
She faces up to six years in prison if convicted.
Pastorov was sentenced to four years in jail by a Russian court in 2008.
