London, Sep 30 (IANS) ‘Harry Potter’ actress Emma Watson has been voted Britain’s best-dressed female, while ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson was named the best-dressed man in a poll by Glamour magazine.

Watson topped the poll of 25,000 people, beating off stiff competition from a host of British stars.

The 20-year-old star, who once modelled for Burberry, beat Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham into second place, with ‘Atonement’ actress Keira Knightly, singer Cheryl Cole and actress-fashion designer Sienna Miller completing the top five.

‘From Hermione in Hogwarts robes to the face of Burberry Prorsum, Emma Watson’s rise and rise to style fame has been an interesting one. Granted that the star commits a fair few faux pas in the style department, she is the golden girl in the front row at LFW (London Fashion Week) and has re-ignited our love of the classic trench,’ contactmusic.com quoted a spokesperson from Glamour as saying.

Meanwhile, 24-year-old Robert Pattinson proved to be most popular with voters pushing Scottish actor Gerard Butler into second place.

Watson’s ‘Harry Potter’ co-stars also featured highly in the poll with Rupert Grint – who plays Ron Weasley coming third and Daniel ‘Harry Potter’ Radcliffe in fourth place. Footballer David Beckham was fifth.
