London, March 30 (IANS) It was a sight one may not come across just any other day in the heart of London, as a veritable harem of scantily-clad women strolled down Oxford Street in nothing more than their underwear Friday morning.
The women risked causing a pile-up on the busy road as they merrily flaunted their bodies in a variety of lingerie.
The stunt marked the opening of the new Ann Summers store on nearby Wardour Street, as well as National Cleavage Day (NCD) this Saturday, the Sun reported.
NCD is held annually to celebrate women’s independence and power in their careers and relationships.
The crew came in all shapes and sizes to showcase prospective Ann Summers customers that there’s something for everyone inside its new store.
For many shopkeepers and pedestrians, however, it was an ‘opportunity’ hardly anyone could afford to miss, as they stopped in amazement and started clicking pictures from their cell phones just as the flesh-flashing all-women brigade passed by.
