London, Sep 2 (IANS) Singer, guitarist and songwriter Wilko Johnson, who was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer last year, says it was fun working in TV show “Game of Thrones”.

The 66-year-old had never heard of the show when he was offered a part and only accepted the role in the hope of getting a free leather jacket.
“They said it was for an American TV series and I thought it was going to be like ‘Xena: Princess Warrior’ so I thought, ‘I’d love a bit of that, at least I’ll get a leather jacket out of it or something’,” dailymirror.co.uk quoted Johnson as saying.
“The first filming was in Ireland and I looked round and thought, ‘B**ody hell, this is a proper job!’ It was great fun. My character doesn’t have a tongue so I didn’t have to learn lines,” he added.
