London, May 29 (IANS) Reality television stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have split.
The couple, who worked together in MTV series ‘The Hills’, married in 2008 in a ceremony in Mexico. They exchanged vows for a second time in 2009 in Pasadena, California, amid claims that their Mexican nuptials were not legal, reports contactmusic.com.
Following their split, Montag, 23, has decided to move out of their Pacific Palisades home.
‘Heidi is looking to move out due to all the fake bad press that Spencer controls. She’s tired of it and is looking for a place and wants to focus on her acting career,’ said a representative of Montag.
Montag hinted at turmoil in her marriage when she wrote on microblogging site Twitter: ‘I am not Heidi Pratt, I am Heidi Montag.’
