Bhopal, May 30 (IANS) A helicopter in which Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was travelling to a function lost its way in a dust haze, officials said Sunday.
The incident happened when Chouhan was on his way Saturday to Dulara village in the state’s Shivpuri district to attend a mass marriage function, an official of chief minister’s house told IANS on the condition of anonymity. Shivpuri is 300 km from here.
The haze was caused by a dust storm in neighbouring Rajasthan.
The helicopter hovered about an hour before it could land at the village, and Chouhan reached the venue of the function, organised by Dhamad community, about 50 minutes late, the official said.
