Abu Dhabi, June 3 (IANS/WAM) Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) Thursday launched the Japanese version of its website to woo tourists from that country.
The website ‘Visit Abu Dhabi’ came soon after the launch of Etihad Airlines’ direct flights between Abu Dhabi, Nagoya, the third largest Japanese city, and Tokyo with an objective to tap the potential market of Japan, ADTA said in a statement.
Hotels and lodging establishments in Abu Dhabi accommodated 2,782 guests from Japan during the first four months of this year. The number of visitors on the tourism website have increased by 26 percent against last year, the statement said.
The website provides information about hotels, tourist places, airports, and service providers such as taxi companies and agencies for renting vehicles.
